About the position

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to enhance our consulting offerings and support a client in the Energy/Power industry. This role involves creating functional and technical specifications, writing Python scripts, deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to the Python community. The developer will also be responsible for improving existing applications, participating in testing and maintenance, and ensuring system stability and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand requirements to create functional and technical specifications.
• Write Python scripts to meet business needs.
• Set up Python application deployment using CI/CD pipelines with DevOps tools.
• Play an active role in promoting and engaging the Python community.
• Contribute to improvements to existing applications.
• Participate in testing, training, maintenance, and support phases.
• Ensure the durability and stability of the systems developed.
• Contribute to server resource optimization, workflow management, and support activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position (Python).
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
• Proven track record as a Senior Python Developer.
• Strong skills in Data Engineering.
• Skilled and experienced in PySpark and SQL.
