About the position

Glansa LLC is seeking a Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain serverless AWS Lambda functions and integrate them with various AWS services. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance application scalability and responsiveness, as well as developing conversational interfaces using Amazon Lex. The position requires a Master's degree in Computer and Information Science or a related field, along with relevant experience in AWS services and web development technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain serverless AWS Lambda functions using Python.
  • Implement event-driven architecture to optimize application scalability and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Lambda functions into various AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain integration solutions with AWS Connect using Python.
  • Customize and extend AWS Connect functionality to meet specific business requirements.
  • Ensure seamless communication between AWS Lambda functions and AWS Connect services.
  • Create and enhance conversational interfaces using Amazon Lex for natural language processing.
  • Implement chatbot solutions to improve user interactions and streamline processes.
  • Integrate Lex into existing systems to enhance user experience and support automation.
  • Design and implement DynamoDB data models for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Develop Python scripts for interacting with DynamoDB, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues related to DynamoDB operations.
  • Set up and configure CloudWatch Logs for monitoring and logging applications.
  • Implement custom logging solutions to capture and analyze relevant data.
  • Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.
  • Create and maintain Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate Python applications seamlessly into deployment pipelines.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Computer and Information Science or related field.
  • 6 months experience in the position offered or related position.
  • Experience in design and developing AWS services.
  • Experience in developing screens using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, JQuery, and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Jira.
