About the position

As a Python Developer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team of passionate developers, working on a variety of Python and Django-based projects for both local and international clients, including those in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Your role will encompass various phases of the end-to-end delivery process, which includes direct client interaction, devising appropriate solutions, implementing those solutions, and transitioning them into the production environment. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other Python developers, front-end developers, and DevOps professionals, either by leading projects or providing assistance at different stages of development. This collaborative environment will allow you to leverage your skills while also learning from others in the team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python and Django applications for various projects.
• Engage in direct communication with clients to understand their requirements and provide suitable solutions.
• Implement solutions and ensure their successful deployment in production environments.
• Collaborate with other developers, including front-end and DevOps teams, to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best software development practices.
• Conduct functional unit and regression tests to ensure software quality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming with Python and Django.
• Proficient in REST and Docker.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns and code reviews.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
• Good command of English.
