Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design, build, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning and AI techniques.
• Lead the architecture, optimization, and management of large-scale data processing systems and pipelines.
• Develop and manage robust database solutions for effective data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data-driven solutions for critical business problems.
• Mentor and guide data science team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Effectively communicate complex data insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and methodologies in data science to drive innovation.
• Assess and optimize data infrastructure for increased efficiency and improved performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
• 15+ years in data science, advanced analytics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
• Expert knowledge of machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with big data tools like Hadoop and Spark, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and database management.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, AI algorithms, and deep learning techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Proven experience leading data science teams with exceptional communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Deep expertise in Python programming.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or other modern data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of ETL frameworks and data pipeline management tools.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
