About the position

The Python Developer position at Idexcel, Inc. involves developing and maintaining applications using Python and related technologies. The developer will work in a hybrid model, contributing to various projects across different industries, and will be expected to collaborate effectively with engineering managers and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Python and Flask.
• Design and optimize database schemas and performance tuning.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using tokenization.
• Write unit tests and conduct testing using Pytest.
• Collaborate with engineering managers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and Jenkins for CI/CD processes.
• Participate in Agile development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in Python programming.
• Good knowledge of Django or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of machine learning and AI algorithms.
• Database skills, including schemas and ORMs.
• Familiarity with programming best practices.
• Fluency in English for collaboration.
• Experience in AWS or other cloud computing services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic understanding of Core Java and Flyway.
• Experience with SQL, specifically MSSQL or any RDBMS.
