About the position

The Senior Python Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Python and related frameworks. This role requires extensive experience in IT and Python web development, along with knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud deployments. The position is hybrid, allowing for remote work with some travel requirements, and aims to deliver high-quality results while adapting to new technologies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python and associated frameworks.
• Implement DevOps practices and utilize Git/GitHub actions for version control.
• Manage cloud deployments and hosting solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver results and contribute to project goals.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies as required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Python web development using Python web frameworks and test frameworks.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and Git/GitHub actions.
• Experience with cloud deployments and hosting.
• Self-driven with a proven track record of delivering results.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Relevant certifications.
• Experience with any three of the following: PostgreSQL/MySQL, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Terraform, Apache Airflow, Angular/React.
