About the position

The Python Engineer role involves developing, testing, and maintaining Python applications and scripts, with a strong emphasis on AWS experience. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance application features and ensure high availability and reliability of applications through best practices in monitoring and logging.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and scripts.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient database solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications and databases using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Optimize and refactor existing code and database queries to improve performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of applications by implementing best practices in monitoring, logging, and alerting.

Requirements

• 6-7 years of experience with AWS.
• Strong programming acumen in Python.
• Experience in designing and maintaining database solutions.
• Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting applications using AWS CloudWatch.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with Terraform.
