About the position

MODIS is seeking Python Developers of all skill levels to join a client in Redwood City. The role involves collaborating with a team of engineers to develop internal tools and applications, support new features, and manage applications using automated deployment tools. The ideal candidate will also monitor and deploy multi-tenant solutions, requiring a solid understanding of Python development and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate internal tools and applications.
• Support new application features and service launches.
• Manage applications using automated deployment tools.
• Monitor and deploy multi-tenant solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building Django/Python applications.
• Hands-on experience managing large, reliable, scalable infrastructure.
• Experience in building, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining web services.
• Expertise in Python programming.
• Familiarity with build tools like Make, ANT, Maven, or Rake.
• Experience with deployment tools such as Saltstack, Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.
• Knowledge of build automation tools like Jenkins, BuildBot, or CruiseControl.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
