About the position

The Software Development Lead will oversee the software development process across multiple offshore teams, ensuring high-quality and predictable delivery of software increments. This role involves managing critical modules of the Service Delivery Platform, addressing performance and security issues, and mentoring team members to enhance code quality and delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development process across several offshore software development teams.
• Own several critical Service Delivery Platform modules, monitoring their health, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, track dependencies and changes, and drive software design improvements.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into manageable tasks for upcoming sprints.
• Manage the software delivery plan and associated risks.
• Collaborate with the Technical Program Manager to manage dependencies on other teams.
• Assist development teams with technical roadblocks and issues.
• Mentor technical program managers and software developers to define measurable user stories and improve code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 9 or more years of software development experience with a focus on APIs and system integration projects.
• Two or more years of technical software team lead experience.
• Experience with modern programming languages: Java, C#, Python, Golang.
• DevOps experience, including on-premises, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience running and maintaining production-ready systems.
