About the position

The Lead Developer/Architect position at TEKsystems is designed for a highly experienced individual with over 10 years in software development, particularly in Python and AWS. The role focuses on low-level design, coding, and the integration of CI/CD pipelines with external tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scalable systems and effectively communicating with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable systems.
• Write and modify scripts to process input XML files and produce output files.
• Read and modify existing CI/CD pipelines to integrate with external tools.
• Communicate effectively with technical team members and business stakeholders.
• Document technical and strategic objectives for projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Expert level proficiency in Python, particularly in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Senior experience with AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, and VPC networking.
• Strong DevOps experience, particularly with CI/CD pipelines and integration with Restful endpoints.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Typescript and AWS CDK.
• Understanding of AWS Networking, including VPC, network firewalls, and WAFs.
• Experience building tools with Python.
