About the position
We are seeking a skilled Python/NodeJS Developer with extensive experience in software development, particularly in NodeJS and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable services and developing GraphQL APIs, with a focus on Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable services using NodeJS and TypeScript.
- Design and implement GraphQL APIs for various applications.
- Utilize cloud services, preferably AWS, to enhance application performance and scalability.
- Monitor and ensure observability of services to maintain high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of NodeJS development with TypeScript.
- 2+ years of cloud experience, preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- 1+ year of experience in an Agile-based development environment using CI/CD and TDD.
- Strong experience with monitoring and observability in software services.
- Understanding of various database solutions including SQL and NoSQL.
Nice-to-haves
- Exposure to product/services development in cloud-based platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept at growth mindset and personal development.
- Strong execution and delivery skills, including planning and supporting projects.
- Professional experience with PostGres SQL on AWS.
- Experience with DynamoDB and AWS Simple Queuing Services.
