About the position

The Python Operator position at Daifuku involves operating CNC laser cutting machines on the 2nd shift. Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines safely and productively, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Load raw materials into the CNC laser cutting machine and adjust parameters for optimal performance.
• Label and tag finished parts accurately for delivery to designated areas.
• Monitor laser operations to ensure proper functioning and safety; record machine code errors and communicate issues to the supervisor.
• Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to ensure quality.
• Deburr and clean parts as necessary.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and safety records.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and maintain supplies.
• Assist other operators with machine operation, inspection, and cleaning tasks.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machines.
• Familiarity with CNC laser cutting operations and safety standards.
• Licensed forklift truck operator.
• Experience operating a crane for at least 2 years.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer.
