About the position
The Python Platform Engineer will be responsible for building a Generative AI Platform that enables teams and applications across the organization to leverage AI safely and efficiently. This role requires a startup mentality within an enterprise environment, focusing on rapid and iterative development to achieve optimal solutions in collaboration with partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python applications for the Generative AI Platform.
- Design and build scalable and highly available serverless and stateful systems on AWS.
- Configure and deploy CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure the platform meets performance and security standards.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Python programming, including application service development.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, and Security Groups.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Proven experience in configuring and deploying CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab.
- Familiarity with microservice development patterns.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
Nice-to-haves
- AI/ML experience or certification.
- Experience with Apigee.
