About the position

The role is for a mid-level developer within the Commodities Technology Front Office Risk team in Houston. This position involves engaging with trading, quants, and sales teams to develop and support a strategic platform that calculates, manages, and stores intra-day and end-of-day risk data for front office trading. The role offers the opportunity to participate in the development of a new risk system and gain experience in real-time pricing and risk techniques.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with traders, sales, and quants to gather and define business requirements.
• Contribute to the re-engineering, development, and enhancement of a wide range of risk management tools.
• Adhere to and continuously improve our processes and SDLC in a fast-moving environment.
• Work as a full stack developer across Python and REACT UI stack.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Python.
• 3+ years of experience in REACT UI preferred.
• Knowledge of investment banking products and risks.

• Experience in server-side programming using C#.
