About the position

The Python SDET/Developer position involves contributing to large-scale, innovative projects for a leading Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner. The role is focused on designing, developing, and testing software, requiring strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies. This position is available for junior to senior level candidates and is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
• Developing and managing automation code, data sets, scripts, and utilities.
• Creating and executing functional and non-functional moderate to complex test cases and solutions based on test strategies and test plans.
• Effectively communicating testing activities and findings in oral and written formats.
• Participating in product code reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience working in the US.
• Degree in Computer Science or related domains.
• Able to write/debug code in Python.
• Proficient in bash and solid Linux OS.
• Experience with Jenkins and Git.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
• AWS knowledge preferred.
• Test Data creation/Data Driven Testing knowledge or experience.
• Experience with automation testing tools is a big plus.
• Exposure to Agile environment.
• Good communication skills, team worker, faster learner.
• A passion for testing, development, and design.
