About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. The role involves onboarding new data feeds, which may require collaboration with Line of Business teams or managing the process end-to-end independently. The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing automation to enhance onboarding workflows, validating controls, and leading the design, development, and implementation of technical integrations to ensure timely delivery of services. The position requires the development of code that translates various file types, such as XML, JSON, CSV, and Tab Delimited formats, into a specific XML format. Additionally, the engineer will need to capture and log exceptions and abnormalities, implementing automated responses where necessary. Documentation is a critical aspect of this role, as the engineer must ensure that all custom integrations are thoroughly documented for supportability and transparency. The engineer will work both independently and collaboratively within a team, documenting and validating requirements, planning work schedules, and providing delivery timelines. Backend development, including business logic, is also a key responsibility, along with providing day-to-day support for data and applications, configuring vendor products, and building integrations. Responsibilities

  • Onboarding new feeds, managing the process end to end or in partnership with Line of Business teams.
