About the position

The Data Analyst role is a 6-month contract position focused on leveraging data to enhance consumer experience and improve business outcomes. The analyst will connect data from various sources, conduct deep analyses, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. This position emphasizes data-driven storytelling and effective communication to optimize service channels and overall quality performance in healthcare consumer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with vast amounts of data from multiple sources to deliver high-impact actionable insights to senior leadership and business operations.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis from structured, unstructured, and diverse datasets; apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics.
  • Help source, clean, prepare and verify integrity of data to be used for analysis.
  • Discover and communicate actionable insights to decision makers and make presentations to senior executives.
  • Serve as a thought leader for the consumer omnichannel journey analytics domain.
  • Partner with various functions to produce innovative and transformative data science solutions.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a highly quantitative field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data-driven investigations, data storytelling, visualizations, and analytic insight creation for executive consumption.
  • Experience handling terabyte size datasets and discovering hidden patterns.
  • Experience in data visualization tools.
  • Advanced experience in SQL.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Advanced proficiency in R and/or Python for data analysis.
  • Demonstrated business focus connecting business requirements to analytic objectives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters Degree or higher in a highly quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data-driven investigations, data storytelling, visualizations, and analytic insight creation for executive consumption.
  • Experience in omnichannel strategy, Customer Service Analytics, Call Optimization, and Consumer behavioral analytics.
  • Experience with Nexidia, Qualtrics, Spark, and cloud-based analytic services.
  • Experience with machine learning platforms, data mart development, advanced statistics, natural language processing, and journey analytics platforms.
