About the position

The QA Analyst position on the 2nd shift involves ensuring the quality and integrity of food products through various analytical tests and inspections. This role is crucial in maintaining the standards of a leading manufacturer of dips and sauces, contributing to product development and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the pH, viscosity, water activity, brix, density, taste, color, texture and appearance of ingredients, in-process, and finished products
• Perform titrations to obtain salt, lactic and acetic acid concentrations
• Prepare flavors and dyes for ingredients
• Inspect production lines and validate integrity of all testing components
• Assist in projects involving shelf-life studies and auditing retains

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field (Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, etc.)
• Basic math and science skills with lab bench work experience
