About the position

Yakshna Solutions, Inc. (YSI) is seeking a highly qualified QA Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all information systems products and services meet the minimum organizational standards and end-user requirements. This role requires effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal skills. The QA Analyst will work in a fast-paced environment and must be self-motivated and innovative. The position is based onsite at Fort Knox, KY, and requires a Secret Clearance. As a QA Analyst, you will be tasked with developing a Software Quality Assurance Plan and implementing procedures that conform to the requirements of the contract. Under general supervision, you will carry out procedures to ensure that all software is thoroughly tested to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. You will document and work to resolve all problems, reporting progress on problem resolution to management. Additionally, you will devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations. Performing workflow analysis and recommending quality improvements will also be part of your responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Develop a Software Quality Assurance Plan and implement procedures that conform to contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Project Management Professional, Electronics, Software Sciences, or a relevant field.
  • Six Sigma Certification.
  • 5 years of experience with Army IT.
