Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated testing of applications supporting business objectives.
  • Lead analysis for developing test cases for websites, web applications, and infrastructure.
  • Define test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
  • Plan tests and strategies according to the project requirements.
  • Perform hands-on manual testing while scripting automated tests to ensure application quality.
  • Serve as a liaison to business analysts and product owners, providing feedback on application readiness for migrations.
  • Analyze problems and weigh their severity.
  • Identify, communicate, and prioritize software bugs in the code.
  • Perform application performance and load tests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience as an Analyst, Tester, Engineer, or in a related role.
  • Experience working in the software development industry and participating in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in automation tools including Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience testing web services including RESTful API.
  • Knowledge of programming languages including Java, C#, and .Net.
  • Experience with performance testing using tools including Apache JMeter.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools including Bamboo and Jenkins.
  • Experience with databases including MongoDB and Postgres.
