About the position

The QA Analyst position is focused on ensuring the quality of software through testing and automation. The role requires a strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to create and maintain automation frameworks. The position is onsite in Tampa, FL, and is a long-term contract role that emphasizes collaboration within Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement.
• Create a new Automation Framework as needed.
• Utilize JIRA or similar tools for Test case and Defect Management.
• Work with Agile (Scrum) teams to ensure quality assurance processes are followed.
• Contribute to automation testing using various tools and technologies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on automation experience with Core Java, Selenium, Junit/TestNG, Cucumber, Soap UI, REST, API, Eclipse IDE, Maven, Jenkins, IntelliJ, and similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team player and as an individual contributor.
