About the position

We are seeking a Manual Tester with a strong background in software testing and a good understanding of automation testing. This remote position focuses on ensuring the quality of our AI-driven applications by collaborating with development and product teams to identify, document, and track issues while contributing to the development of automated testing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive manual testing for AI applications, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans for various components of the system.
• Identify and document software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
• Design and implement automated test scripts where appropriate to increase testing efficiency.
• Work with automation tools and frameworks to enhance existing test cases.
• Participate in software development lifecycle processes to ensure quality from the start.
• Perform regression testing, exploratory testing, and performance testing.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues encountered during testing.
• Report test results and provide feedback to development teams and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manual testing with solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Good knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and handling defect tracking.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript (a plus).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with development and product teams.
