About the position

The QA Analyst - Specialty Mental Health Compliance & Billing Specialist is responsible for overseeing quality assurance activities related to program services and Medi-Cal billing compliance. This part-time position involves monitoring case records, participating in clinical record audits, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The role requires strong organizational skills and a customer service-oriented approach, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor case records for compliance with regulatory, statutory, and contracting requirements and standards.
• Participate in the clinical record audit processes to ensure documentation, authorizations, and consents are current and accurate.
• Responsible for data entry into internal data collection systems and county billing systems.
• Orient new staff to the client database and QA procedures and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
• Experience performing Medi-Cal or private insurance billing functions.
• Experience performing quality assurance functions.
• Ability to type 60-70 WPM with 10-key skills and maintain an accuracy score of 85% or higher.
