About the position

The Quality Analyst/Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring that the solutions delivered by Procentrix meet customer needs and expectations. This position involves a variety of testing activities, including functional and usability testing, developing test plans, and collaborating with developers and business analysts to resolve issues. The role requires a strong background in QA/testing for IT systems, particularly with Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level functional, usability, and testing expertise during the requirements phase.
• Develop and utilize test plans and scripts for assigned projects.
• Perform application testing to ensure program changes are functional and comply with established standards.
• Work with developers, business analysts, and end user groups to identify and resolve issues with system changes.
• Test new and legacy custom applications, with or without the use of formal test cases/scripts.
• Assist the development team in debugging and reproducing reported issues.
• Test applications against specifications and documentation.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in QA/testing roles for IT systems development projects.
• Experience with testing applications developed in Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform, Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Model Driven Apps, and SharePoint.
• Hands-on experience conducting manual testing across a portfolio of applications and systems on a large program.
• Experience writing test plans and test cases.
• Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing activities.
• Experience producing test analysis reports.
• Experience managing defects in test and defect management tools.
• Experience creating test data to address testing requirements.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience with automated testing through development and execution of automated test scripts.
• Active federal government public trust clearance.
