About the position

Akkodis is seeking a QA Analyst with VBA for a contract position with a client located in Plano, Texas. This role is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work. The ideal candidate will possess a solid financial background and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with QA Change standards within a team of 35-40 individuals. The position requires thoughtful collaboration with Global Technology Change Management to maximize processes, documentation, and approval routines, ensuring adherence to Change standard governance. The QA Analyst will mentor team members on new QA change standard requirements, ensuring both material and non-material project compliance. This role involves working closely with Program and Technology Project Managers to establish success criteria and metrics for measuring compliance results. Additionally, the QA Analyst will partner with Agile Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure that both new and existing development processes align with governance and change standards. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, which may be negotiable based on the candidate's experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Global Technology Change Management to maximize processes and documentation.
  • Mentor team members on new QA change standard requirements.
  • Work with Program and Technology Project Managers to establish success criteria and metrics for compliance.
  • Evaluate and remediate issues in collaboration with the Change team.
  • Partner with Agile SMEs to align development processes with governance and change standards.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Proficient in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for creating macros and data processing functions.
  • Experience in design, implementation, administration, development, maintenance, and support of SharePoint sites.
  • High proficiency in SharePoint solutions and SharePoint Designer.
  • Strong Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and working with large data sets.
