About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing APIs, web applications, and Windows applications using tools like Selenium or similar frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through automation testing, performance testing, and regression testing. Familiarity with Oracle Point of Sale (Simphony Second Edition) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform automation testing on APIs, web applications, and Windows applications using Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Execute various testing types including regression testing and smoke testing to ensure product stability.
• Document test environments, test scenarios, and test cases, execute test cases, and generate detailed test reports.
• Identify, report, and track bugs, coordinating closely with developers to analyze and resolve issues.
• Occasionally wear the business analyst cap by assisting in requirement analysis and gathering.
• Set up and maintain test lab environments, including kiosks, printers, payment devices, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Write and utilize scripts (preferably in Python) for automated testing and other relevant tasks.
• Utilize Postman for API scripting and testing.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automated QA testing.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Oracle Point of Sale (Simphony Second Edition).
