About the position

The Quality Control Data Analyst will support software products used by the Department of Transportation to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers on public roadways. This role involves conducting data reviews, validation, and analysis of Motor Vehicle crash data, performing quality assurance of web-based applications, and developing quality control plans within an agile development framework.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data reviews, validation, and analysis for Motor Vehicle crash data.
• Perform quality assurance of web-based applications.
• Write queries to perform quality control of the data collected.
• Develop and execute quality control plans.
• Follow agile sprint-based development and testing.
• Create sprint items and bugs.
• Provide support to the Technical Lead.
• Create different reports using business intelligence tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a relevant field, or a combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience performing quality control, writing, and executing test case scenarios for applications.
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience.
• Proficient in Business Objects, Tableau, Excel, or similar Data Visualization Tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Automated testing.
• Knowledge of XML and JSON.
