About the position

As a QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibilities will include defining, developing, and implementing quality assurance practices and procedures, as well as creating comprehensive test plans and assessments. You will utilize a variety of tool sets to create effective manual and automated test plans, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality before it reaches our clients. You will be expected to work with tools such as Selenium Web Driver, XML, XPATH, UFT/QTP, Cucumber, VSTS, Postman, TFS, HP LoadRunner, Performance Center, Jmeter, Dynatrace, Splunk, and IBMPMAT tool, among others. Your role will also involve performing requirements gathering based on user needs, conducting sessions with different business groups to align on project requirements, and developing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports for multiple projects of varying sizes. In addition to testing various software and reporting systems, you will document quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all projects. The position requires a willingness to travel to various client locations across the nation to set up systems, perform feasibility studies, and evaluate user requirements. Travel is expected to be around 25% within the USA, primarily for attending conferences, training, and client meetings, with no international travel required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using Selenium Web Driver, UFT/QTP, Cucumber, and other testing tools.
  • Experience with XML, XPATH, CSS, HTML, and Java Script.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SQL.
  • Familiarity with REST and SOAP services, as well as tools like SoapUI and Postman.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive test plans and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with performance testing tools like HP LoadRunner and Jmeter.
  • Familiarity with Dynatrace and Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
  • Knowledge of Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin syntax.
  • Experience with version control systems like GITHUB.
