About the position

Corpay is currently looking to hire a QA Analyst within our Lodging division. This position can be located in Atlanta, GA Peachtree Corners office. In this role, you will be utilizing SQL and Unix in order to interpret commands and execute test scenarios. You will report directly to the Director of IT Architecture and regularly collaborate with the team. As a QA Analyst, you will be expected to work in a virtual environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing an assigned workspace in a home office setup, company-issued equipment with remote access, formal hands-on training, and a monthly home internet stipend.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Software Engineers to understand the product ecosystem.
  • Develop automated test frameworks and suites on UI, API, and Integration levels of testing using Python or other OO languages.
  • Create QA test artifacts (Test Strategy, Test Matrix, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Results) and functional documentation.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases (functional, UI, API, Integration, Regression, UAT testing).
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
  • Participate in design discussions for our platform to help evolve the platform in a way that enables richer testing scenarios that simplify defect detection and prevention.
  • Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across teams.
  • Contribute to end-to-end acceptance tests.
  • Develop and execute manual test cases to detect issues that cannot be detected through automated means, as necessary.
  • Look for opportunities and drive conversion of manual tests to automated tests.
  • Perform and lead the testing of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
  • Create test data for applications.
  • Document and work to resolve all complex problems.
  • Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations.
  • Formulate and define project scope and objectives based on both requirements documents and a thorough understanding of the product and the software development life cycle.
  • Develop test strategy and test plans.
  • Create defect tracking reports and lead the project to verify all defects are resolved and verified by the QA group.
  • Create Test Scripts/Cases and Data that are in line with defined business processes and requirements.
  • Execute System Integration Testing and communicate the results for approval.
  • Analyze, report, and monitor issues and defects found during the testing execution.
  • Conduct regression tests to ensure that any changes to the system have not affected existing functionality.
  • Conduct regression analysis and address gaps.
  • Support the Business Customers/SMEs in the creation and execution of the Business Acceptance Test Plan, Test Scripts/Cases, and Data and Results.
  • Conduct peer reviews and defect triage meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in manual testing in areas such as functional, regression, integration, user interface, performance, and scalability testing.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium 2, Selenium 3, Selenium Grid, SoapUI, Browser Stack, QuickTest Professional, Rational Functional Tester, SilkTest, Visual Studio Test Professional, Eclipse, TestNG, Maven, JUnit).
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and scripts.
  • Experience in working in an agile software development team using Scrum.
  • Experience in Java, JavaScript, C#, VB, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience in the payments industry is a strong plus.
  • Passion for driving best practices in the testing space.
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches.
  • Experience building or improving test automation frameworks.
  • Experience in analyzing various features in a release and recommending suitable test strategies to achieve greater product quality for each release.
  • Extensive experience with QA techniques and methodology; developing test strategy and test plans, designing, implementing, executing, and analyzing test cases.
  • Advanced understanding of application functionality (e.g., business process flow, rules, and functional flow) and associated interfaces.
  • Advanced understanding of build procedures, operating systems, database command languages, programming languages, and the tools used by the enterprise.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work.
  • Able to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
