About the position

The role of a Quality Assurance (QA) professional at TP ICAP is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and performance of our software products, particularly those related to financial markets trading. As part of a dynamic team, you will assess software quality through both manual and automated testing methods. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, report, and troubleshoot bugs and issues that may arise during the software development lifecycle. This involves developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure that our products not only meet but exceed client expectations before they are launched into the market. In this role, you will work closely with development and business teams, fostering an iterative approach to problem-solving. Your collaboration will be essential in assuring that any issues are promptly identified and corrected, thereby enhancing the overall quality of our software solutions. You will also be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system specifications prior to releases, ensuring that all aspects of the software are thoroughly vetted and ready for deployment. The position requires a keen attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset, as you will be tasked with documenting and troubleshooting errors effectively. Your ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in this role. Responsibilities

  • Assess software quality through manual and automated testing
  • Find and report bugs and issues
  • Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality
  • Design and conduct tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs
  • Work closely and iteratively with development and business teams to assure issues are found and corrected

Requirements

  • Experience in QA methodologies
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently to internal and external stakeholders
