About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst at Halvik is responsible for developing, writing, and executing testing plans and scripts to ensure that software functions as expected. This role involves ensuring that all information systems products and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements, while also documenting and resolving issues that arise during testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute testing plans and scripts for software applications.
• Ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
• Thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
• Document problems and provide progress reports on problem resolution.
• Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations.
• Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements to the IT enterprise environment.

Requirements

• Experience in developing and executing testing plans and scripts.
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
• Ability to document and resolve software issues effectively.
• Experience in workflow analysis and recommending improvements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
