About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing and validation processes. This role requires a strong understanding of software architecture and the ability to develop comprehensive test cases. The Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with developers and product managers to identify issues, improve processes, and enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases for various software applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Utilize tools such as HP ALM for test management and defect tracking.
  • Conduct debugging sessions to diagnose issues in collaboration with development teams.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality-related aspects.
  • Work with RESTful APIs to validate data integrity and application functionality.
  • Assist in the implementation of automated testing frameworks using Python or similar languages.
  • Maintain version control using GitLab for testing scripts and documentation.
  • Provide detailed reports on testing outcomes, including defects found, severity levels, and recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role in software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Familiarity with RESTful services and API testing tools.
  • Experience in writing test cases based on functional specifications.
  • Proficiency in debugging applications on Android platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must have Forklift Operator Experience.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with expected hours of no less than 40 per week.
  • Pay starting from $17.00 per hour.
