About the position

The Client is embarking on a significant transformation by implementing Oracle Cloud HCM to replace their existing legacy PeopleSoft 9.2 on-prem solution. This project is crucial for modernizing their HR systems and will be executed in two phases over an estimated duration of 22 months. To ensure the success of this implementation, the Client is seeking a QA Analyst who possesses proven experience with Oracle Cloud HCM and quality assurance practices. This role is essential for maintaining consistency throughout the project, as the QA Analyst will collaborate closely with both Client stakeholders and the System Integrator (SI) to facilitate the testing and quality assurance processes. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and executing test scripts based on business requirements and functional documentation. Your role will involve conducting System Integration Testing (SIT), documenting results, and managing defect resolution processes. You will work alongside the QA Lead and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to review test scenarios and scripts, ensuring that all feedback is incorporated into the testing process. Additionally, you will coordinate with Project Managers and Product Owners to outline test plans and create necessary test data for various testing cycles. Your contributions will extend to preparing regression test suites and performing regression testing prior to each Go-Live phase. You will also play a key role in supporting end-to-end testing sessions and providing input for Go-NoGo decisions during critical project meetings. This position requires a strong understanding of Oracle HCM functionalities, including Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Management, as well as experience in various testing methodologies such as Data Migration testing, Functional testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Responsibilities

  • Develop test scripts utilizing business requirements/functional documentation & design specifications.
  • Execute SIT test scripts, record actual results, document, and retest defects.
  • Assist in test defect management process, monitor, and report on defect resolution.
  • Review Test Scenario's and test scripts with QA Lead and business SME's and incorporate feedback.
  • Coordinate execution of SIT test scripts with Project Managers, QA Lead.
  • Review test sequence, test data required for testing with Product Owners, Business Process Leads and Business SMEs.
  • Work with QA Lead to outline Test plan for each cycle.
  • Create test data as needed for all testing cycles.
  • Participate in the test plan meeting and provide feedback.
  • Develop test scripts for UAT scenarios identified by Product Owners, Business Process Leads and Business SMEs.
  • Prepare regression test suite and perform regression testing prior to each Go-Live.
  • Support end to end testing sessions.
  • Provide input for Go-NoGo decisions and participate in go-NoGo meeting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in testing and validating Oracle HCM Fusion Functionality.
  • Oracle HCM Fusion functionality experience including Core HR, Benefits, LA, Payroll, Talent Management, Reports is required.
  • Familiarity with Oracle CEMLI / RICEW.
  • Experience in developing test cases and test plans for Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Reports, and Talent Management is required.
  • Experience in Data Migration testing, Functional, System Integration, User Acceptance Testing & E2E testing.
  • Experience in executing test cases to verify the functionality of the software and identify defects.
  • Creating and maintaining test data to support testing activities.
  • Experience working with business and IT teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into test cases and test scripts.
  • Experience facilitating testing activities, conducting test runs and cycles, defect tracking, issue resolution and conducting defect triage meetings is required.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail & documentation skills required.
  • Have hands on experience on writing manual tests, executing test runs, SIT & UAT test planning & execution.
