About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive testing strategy within the retail technology and DevOps environment. This role involves ensuring the functionality, security, performance, compatibility, and usability of various software and hardware components. The QA Analyst will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance quality assurance processes and communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategy plans, scenarios, and cases.
• Support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing.
• Run test scripts against various POS software and hardware components, custom-built applications, COTS, and SaaS applications.
• Create reports that communicate test status and findings.
• Make recommendations to enhance QA processes.
• Utilize SQL database and SSRS for data analysis.
• Communicate test strategies and activities to team members bi-weekly.
• Work directly with third-party vendors to test new releases within the POS and mobile technology stack.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to assess and identify solutions for bugs/defects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience with SQL preferred.
• 1 year of experience with Selenium preferred.
• 1 year of experience in test automation preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft products, JIRA, Asana, and Teams.
• Ability to commute to Minneapolis, MN 55401.
• Willingness to relocate before starting work.
