About the position

The QA Analyst at RAPP is responsible for ensuring the quality of various marketing deliverables, including emails, websites, landing pages, and display ads. This role involves collaborating with team members to develop and execute testing strategies that guarantee digital products function correctly across multiple platforms. The QA Analyst will also proofread creative outputs and work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Execute QA solutions for various project types, utilizing best practices and client-specific expertise.
  • Test digital projects across multiple browsers, operating systems, email clients, and mobile devices to ensure proper rendering and functionality.
  • Write test plans and test cases, collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure the integrity of the testing approach.
  • Review and provide feedback on digital project reference materials, including UX/wireframes and creative documents.
  • Document change requests in a bug-tracking system and prioritize them based on project needs.
  • Mitigate project risk through discussions with developers and stakeholders.
  • Work on multiple projects and tasks as requested by project management.
  • Complete daily statuses to keep the project team updated on progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, information technology, English, journalism, computer science, communications or related field.
  • 2+ years of QA testing experience at a marketing agency or relevant business.
  • Experience testing marketing emails for content, functionality, and rendering is a plus.
  • Proofreading/copy editing experience is a plus.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
  • Proficiency in key hardware and software, including iOS and Android devices, Mac and Windows platforms, MS Office, Adobe Campaign Classic, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Workfront, and content management systems.
  • Expertise in reviewing HTML and inline CSS code; web development experience is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting/automation (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
