About the position

The QA Analyst at GSK Solutions Inc. is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products supporting the Arkansas Judiciary. This role involves developing and implementing test plans, executing functional and non-functional testing, and collaborating with developers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. The position requires a strong background in test automation and cloud-based application testing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
  • Perform testing and debugging of new and existing application software.
  • Design, execute, and automate API testing using XUnit and manual testing using Postman.
  • Collaborate with developers and Platform Engineers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Identify and report defects, track and prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and test automation.
  • Develop and evolve test plans for complex applications.
  • Deconstruct solutions into tests that optimize for coverage and risk.
  • Create trusted test automation with high reliability and relevancy.
  • Extend test automation frameworks to incorporate new functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or similar role.
  • 3 years of experience with .NET unit testing frameworks.
  • 3 years of experience with End-to-end functional UI automation using Playwright.
  • 3 years of experience with React framework and unit testing concepts with React Testing Library and Jest.
  • 3 years of experience with API testing including API automation, .NET, C#.
  • 3 years of experience with database systems like PostgreSQL.
  • 3 years of experience working with version control systems like Git.
  • 1 year of experience with AWS services including AWS Lambda.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Andi and Axe dev Tools for accessibility or similar tools.
  • Experience with testing applications native to cloud on AWS.

Benefits

  • Contract position with pay up to $25.00 per hour.
