About the position

The QA Analyst will join the Video Playback Services team at Insight Global, focusing on ensuring seamless video playback across various platforms such as web browsers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming media devices. The role involves supporting video player integrations and collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, and Tech Leads in an Agile environment to maintain high QA standards through detailed testing across multiple devices.

Responsibilities

• Support video player integrations for various platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Tech Leads in an Agile environment.
• Test across multiple devices to ensure high QA standards.
• Follow detailed test scripts to validate video playback functionality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on testing experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
• Strong ability to switch between multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proven industry experience preferably in video player testing, especially on mobile devices.
• Experience with debugging tools and log analysis using Charles Proxy.
• Excellent collaboration skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of streaming technologies, AV codecs, DRM systems, and familiarity with video players like Theo, JW Player, and Shaka Player.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
