About the position

The QA Analyst position at Interactive Resources is a critical role focused on ensuring the accuracy and quality of data within a home healthcare network. The role involves validating data flows, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with team members to enhance data reliability. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence two days a week in Golden, Colorado, and offers opportunities for career growth within a shared services model.

Responsibilities

  • Validate the accuracy of ingested data from various sources, ensuring that the data is complete and correctly formatted.
  • Perform quality checks on modeled data within the Snowflake data warehouse to ensure consistency and alignment with business rules.
  • Develop and maintain data validation reports using Excel & Jira to identify and track discrepancies in data.
  • Use basic SQL queries to perform spot checks and analyze data for quality assurance purposes.
  • Work closely with the development team to understand data requirements and provide feedback on data quality issues.
  • Communicate findings and results of quality assurance checks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing small projects related to data validation and data quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Data Analyst and development team to identify and address root causes of data issues.
  • Document data validation processes and findings to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain data quality issues to both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and small projects.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and problem-solving.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with healthcare data, specifically claims data protected by HIPAA, or a similarly complex data-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in data validation or quality assurance roles.
  • Experience working in an organization with a parent company and multiple business units.
