About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of performance and usability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional testing to verify that software applications meet specified requirements.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Python.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand project requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Perform database testing using SQL and PL/SQL to validate data integrity.
  • Participate in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Execute load testing using LoadRunner to assess application performance under various conditions.
  • Conduct mobile testing to ensure optimal functionality across different devices.
  • Document test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution.
  • Participate in Agile or Waterfall project methodologies as required by the project scope.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in functional testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium and programming languages like Python.
  • Familiarity with SQL for database validation and querying data.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of LoadRunner for performance testing is a plus.
  • Understanding of mobile testing best practices is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform business analysis effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
