The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring that our Point of Sale (POS) and Payment Management System (PMS) applications meet the highest standards of quality by conducting testing, identifying defects and issues, and working closely with the development team to ensure that all issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner. In this role, you will also create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and reports, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. The position involves reviewing design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product. The QA Analyst will identify appropriate parameters, functions, and methods to test and validate the software. Conducting testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines is a key responsibility. The analyst will identify, log, and recreate error codes, bugs, and defects, performing sanity and full regression testing of POS and PMS applications while adhering to QA policies, processes, and documentation standards. Additionally, the QA Analyst will conduct testing on new code to ensure that it meets functional requirements, technical specifications, and is compliant with PCI standards, while ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports, and raising bug tickets for issues found during testing are essential tasks. The role also includes conducting root cause analysis of issues, working closely with the development teams to ensure that any issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner. The QA Analyst will review third-party specifications, complete external certifications with payment processors, ensuring that all requirements are met, and participate in an Agile Scrum environment, supporting business strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners is crucial, as is maintaining clear and concise communication with all stakeholders. Adherence to standardized QA policies, processes, and documentation standards is expected.
