The Lead Actimize Developer position at Indotronix is a hybrid role primarily based in Pittsburgh, PA, with flexibility for candidates in Strongsville or Columbus, OH. This contract-to-hire position focuses on automation testing, particularly in API and UI testing, and requires a strong technical background in Java and related technologies. The role emphasizes independent contribution to testing practices and collaboration with business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an automation expert with extensive experience in API testing, performance testing, and UI testing.
• Implement automation frameworks and automate test cases using open-source tools.
• Utilize the Karate test automation platform to optimize test execution time.
• Maintain and update the test suite to ensure full testing coverage for new features and perform regression testing.
• Drive testing practices and establish processes for the team.
• Contribute to PI planning activities from a testing perspective and elaborate testing tasks in the Jira board.
• Engage in design and business discussions to understand requirements and provide estimations for testing activities.
• Collaborate with business analysts and technical contacts to understand business requirements and the impact of new functionalities.
• Review and update test cases/scenarios to ensure full test coverage according to acceptance criteria defined in user stories.

Requirements

• 7-9 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Expertise in Java programming language.
• Experience in testing Identity and Access Management technologies.
• Proficiency in Selenium for UI testing.
• Familiarity with KarateAPI and Postman for API testing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with QFaaS and VFaaS.
