About the position

The Quality Assurance position at GDIT focuses on developing and applying quality standards in accordance with organizational and customer requirements. The role involves conducting reviews, ensuring compliance throughout the quality assurance process, and collaborating with internal and external partners to meet quality standards. The position also includes editing materials for accuracy and compliance, assessing risks, and implementing quality assurance strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply quality standards in accordance with GDIT, MPIC, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct reviews and develop processes to ensure compliance throughout the quality assurance process.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external partners to establish quality standards.
  • Review and edit materials for grammar and content accuracy.
  • Identify and modify contextual errors, reorganize content, and edit graphics, tables, and illustrations.
  • Assess potential risks and compliance issues and provide recommendations.
  • Implement quality standards and execute compliance at every stage of the process.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure products or services meet quality standards.
  • Monitor and develop quality assurance strategies, including crafting and refining ideas and developing articles.
  • Coordinate and perform quality trainings and document the quality testing process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare field with 2-4 years' ACA and/or Medicaid-Medicare experience.
  • 2 or more years' experience with conducting documentation quality assurance, including editing, reviewing, and writing.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office-Word and Excel.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills, both written and oral.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with FWA claims and investigations.
  • Understanding of ACA policies and regulations related to consumer enrollment requirements and Agent/Broker and Navigator responsibilities.
