About the position

We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst specializing in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS) to join our team on a contract basis. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules through thorough testing and quality assurance practices. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, excel in communication, and collaborate effectively with both functional and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business analysts, functional leads, developers, and end-users to understand requirements and achieve comprehensive test coverage.
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing across PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules, including Records, Admissions, Financial Aid, Campus Community, Financials, and Academic Advising to support ongoing operational needs.
• Create detailed test plans for PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and PeopleSoft Regulatory Patch (PRP) testing, ensuring alignment with both business and technical requirements.
• Lead and support testing efforts for PUM/PRP updates, HighPoint Upgrades, and other module testing, working alongside functional leads to prioritize and smooth out deployment processes.
• Document, track, and prioritize defects, working with developers and clients to resolve issues before production deployment.
• Facilitate client walkthroughs to explain changes, testing results, and ensure client understanding. Coordinate client sign-off for production releases.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing accurate test data and ensuring it aligns with the testing requirements.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in testing various PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules.
• Proven expertise in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules, including key areas like Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Financials, and Academic Advisement.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test preparation.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills to work effectively with functional and technical teams.
• Prior experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions upgrades or implementations.
• Knowledge of integrating PeopleSoft Campus Solutions with third-party systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Experience with ALM or other Test Management tools is preferred.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical and non-technical concepts with clients and IS&T peers.
• At least 6 years of QA experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Experience with ALM or other Test Management tools is preferred.
