About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products by conducting thorough testing and validation processes. This position requires a strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Perform system testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality meets specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand business requirements and provide feedback on potential improvements.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.
• Utilize tools such as Azure for managing test environments and tracking issues.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and communicate issues clearly to stakeholders.
• Work with databases using MySQL to validate data integrity and application performance.
• Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C for writing automated tests or scripts.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful services and their testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts as they relate to software applications.
• Experience in system testing, including functional, performance, and security testing.
• Ability to analyze business requirements effectively and translate them into actionable test cases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Prior experience in QA/QC roles is preferred but not mandatory.
