About the position

The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst position is a critical role within the QA team of a leading Fintech payments processing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software systems through rigorous testing and documentation. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Document and communicate functional knowledge of existing corporate software systems
• Create and maintain software test plans and test cases
• Conduct functional and regression testing
• Understand and support PCI DDS compliance requirements across software
• Verify the security and privacy of software systems
• Partner with Development and Product teams to deliver exceptional software systems
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years of experience as a QA Analyst
• Proven experience testing front-end applications and back-end APIs
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding SQL skills
• Tenacious investigative abilities to identify issues and perform root cause analysis
• Experience with Postman and Atlassian Jira

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building automated testing frameworks
• QA Certification (e.g., ASTQB/ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA)
• Background in software development
• Experience with payment systems
