About the position

The QA Automation/Angular Tester position is a contract role based in Pennington, New Jersey, requiring a strong background in Core Java and Selenium development. The role focuses on automating testing processes, contributing to existing test suites, and ensuring compliance with defined acceptance criteria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation frameworks and API testing, working within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Code solutions and unit test to deliver requirements/stories per defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Assist the team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.
• Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.

Requirements

• 6 - 7 years hands-on Core Java/Selenium development experience.
• Technical proficiency in Core Java automation development in various automation frameworks such as TestNG & Cucumber BDD.
• Hands-on experience using Selenium Webdriver.
• Hands-on coding proficiency in Java.
• Experience in automating middleware protocols like SOAP/REST/XML/JSON using Rest-Assured/Http-Clients.
• 3 years hands-on experience with source code versioning tools using Bitbucket/GitHub.
• Technical proficiency with CI/CD automation implementation.
• Experience in Agile Testing Model and API testing.
