About the position

The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. This role requires a strong understanding of automation frameworks and testing methodologies, as well as collaboration with development teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium Web Driver.
• Execute automated tests for web applications and APIs, ensuring high quality and performance standards.
• Utilize Postman and Restassured for API testing and validation.
• Perform SQL queries to validate data and test backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed reports for development teams.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for automation testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Quality Assurance and automated testing methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium Web Driver.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman and Restassured.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with web automation and testing tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
