About the position

The QA Automation Engineer role is focused on ensuring the quality of software products through automated testing processes. This position requires a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various QA methodologies. The engineer will be responsible for developing test plans, strategies, and managing the bug life cycle while utilizing various tools for test management and bug tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for various applications.
• Manage test planning and strategy to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Utilize test management tools like Test Rail for tracking test cases and results.
• Handle bug management and triage using Jira, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Analyze logs and monitor test results to identify and troubleshoot failures.
• Conduct testing across multiple platforms including mobile, web, and devices.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Test Rail).
• Experience with bug and sprint management using Jira.
• Basic coding knowledge in Python or Java, along with scripting and automation skills.
• Experience in devices testing, mobile testing, app testing, and web testing.
• Familiarity with basic AWS services and tools.
