About the position

The QA Automation Engineer/SDET role involves working collaboratively with a team of developers and testing professionals to ensure high-quality test automation for products. The position requires close collaboration with various teams, including PM, QA, Development, and customer support, to integrate core features into automated functional test scenarios while advocating for testability and quality throughout the development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PM, QA, Development, and customer support teams on core Omni Catalog features.
• Incorporate core features into automated functional test scenarios.
• Advocate for testability and quality throughout the feature development cycle.

Requirements

• 5 plus years of experience in functional/Automation testing of microservices.
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technology stacks.
• Proficient in Java and scripting languages (Javascript, Java, etc.).
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and applications on Cloud.
• Experience in API level automation using Java or Javascript.
