About the position

The QA Automation Engineer at Tanu Infotech is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through automated testing methodologies. This role requires extensive experience in UI test automation, API testing, and integration testing, with a focus on delivering high-quality software for web applications and REST APIs. The engineer will work closely with development teams to implement effective testing strategies and contribute to the overall success of software projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand UI test automation, API & integration testing, and Postman.
• Utilize basic SQL for testing purposes.
• Conduct extensive testing of web applications with a focus on SDET mindset.
• Implement strong test automation skills for both web applications and REST APIs.
• Use JavaScript/Typescript for automation tasks.
• Perform unit testing, API testing, and mocking using Postman.
• Leverage SQL or similar technologies for testing.
• Work with micro frontends as a plus.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise QA.
• 10+ years of extensive testing experience in web applications.
• Strong test automation skills for web applications and REST APIs.
• Experience using JavaScript/Typescript.
• Experience with unit testing, API testing, mocking, and Postman.
• Familiarity with SQL or similar technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with micro frontends.
